LOTSA NEWS FOR EAGLES!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 14u TEAM - Silver Medalists in the Youth World Tournament held at Tour arena this past weekend. Also applause to MVP Goalie for the tournament - Dakota Bowers. Give a big PLAYERS HI-FIVE TO Dakota, Josh Goodwin, Ryan Martinez, Calum Terry, Justin Wherry, A. J. Russell, David Salinas, Zach Long and Tyler Hanson.

WOW! GIVE THOSE 12u A HAND! They won the championship at the youth world tournament. MORE HI-FIVES TO Tony Salinas, Ryan Goodwin, Austin Elder, Taylor Kelly, Wylie Handleman, Marques Fuentes, Ryan Worley, A. J. Vanderback And Marquis Skinner. EAGLE'S wylie won the Goalie MVP AWARD. The MVP PLAYER award went to A. J. Vanderback.

AND - HOW ABOUT THOSE 8u? They won their third Tier I Championship May 9-10 at Tour Arena! May team Gold Medalists are: Caevan Smith (goalie), Trey Robinson, Kobe Cross, Kaylee Cross, Matthew Byerly, and Matthew Ferguson. WHAT A TEAM!

12u AND 14u WILL COMBINE PRACTICES ON TUESDAY, MAY 26, AT 6:00pm
8u AND 10u WILL PRACTICE TUESDAY, MAY 26 AT 5:00pm

Summer Rec league only $80 + AAU membership. Join now! Games on weekdays; combined practices and clinics on Saturday mornings. This leaves your weekends free for camping and family activities. Some mid-week practices will also be available if you miss a Saturday practice!

All night skate Friday, May 29 to Saturday, May 30! Come join us.
Coupons are downloadable on our website, usonwheels.com ? just click on the All Night Skate link on the calendar. Memorial day - we are open for public skating 12-2 and 2-4. Come join us!

  • MAY 30-31 - 8U, 10U - Please let your team moms know asap as we must turn our entry in asap. TOURNAMENTS MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE.

  • TEAM PICTURES: WEEK OF JUNE 1 - JUNE 7 - STAY TUNED...schedule will be out shortly.

  • Upcoming AAU Tournament: June 12 - June 14 to be held at Colorado Sports Center in Monument, Colorado. Entry deadline - June 5. If you are interested, let me know by June 3 so I can submit your entry. Cost is $55.00 per player. Please contact Arlene directly if you plan to play in this tournament! Players who play in this tournament will be eligible for Team USA tryouts!

Tournament Series Fees, Locations, & Dates

Practice Fees

$25.00 per month TO BE PAID AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH MONTH. Fees are prorated for a partial month

Bring full hockey equipment, jump ropes, clean socks and tennis shoes to all practices. Additional Practices may be added as the schedule allows.

Fees Include
  • One or more weekly practices
  • coaching
  • team manager and supporting staff at both practice rink and tournament sites
Tournament Locations
Tournaments are held in Colorado Springs or the Denver Metro area.

Tournament Dates
Tournaments are held about every four weeks.

Tournament Fees
Tournament fees run about $40.00.

Additional Costs
Home and away jerseys, matching hockey pants, club membership and insurance are less than $100.00 in most instances.

Fund raisers also help offset the cost of tournament play.
